About Us

Gateway Adventist Centre is a faith-based ministry of the worldwide Seventh-Day Adventist church. It consisting of a training centre and church, networking several hundred members and alumni mainly across Asia-Pacific region. In March 2003, a group of young people launched Gateway City at The University of Melbourne. Starting with a small group, Gateway has consistently grown and today we have many attending in four congregations and many more attending various programs and seminars held throughout the week.

In May 2008, we launched Gateway East based at Monash University (Clayton campus). In August 2012, we launched Gateway West based at Braybrook Community Hub (Braybrook). In February 2018, we launched Gateway Lighthouse in the community in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Our Leaders
Gateway Advisory provides vision, strategy and spiritual leadership. Our leaders and volunteers are from various vocations:

⇒ John Kitevski – elder, business owner
⇒ Noami Kitevski – mother of three, business owner
⇒ Steven Liu – pastor, previously in telecommunication industry
⇒ Lavena She – marketing professional in education industry
⇒ Matthew Tiscia – IT professional in education industry
⇒ Lauren Webb – editor for large government research organisation
⇒ Benny Wen – elder, self-employed, student, previously Finance industry
